proof-of-concept-1

A proof of concept prototype is supposed to deliver proof that a desired outcome is achievable. This kind of prototype focuses solely on the function, not the form. The result is usually a crude looking “guts” of a device constructed with the only purpose of working as intended.

When working on a proof of concept prototype we:

  • Search the market for the best components for said task.
  • Create block diagrams for the electronics layout.
  • Create circuit schematics showing the logic behind the device’s connections.
  • Prepare a specific price-point for the production of said device.

This type of prototype is usually created to minimise risks and verify a previously unverified product concept.
